The case behind the content packages
Anyone buying a content package wants proof. ottr studio has no client cases in marketing yet, and we do not borrow any. What we have are the channels where Otto Boström, who started the studio, has worked with content every day since 2018. Here are those numbers, and what they mean for you.
The numbers
- 350,000 subscribers on the YouTube channel ottr.
- Over 750,000 followers in total across YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, TikTok, X, Instagram and Kick.
- 245 million video views, counting YouTube overall and TikTok over the last twelve months.
- 1.27 billion thumbnail impressions on YouTube.
- 10 to 15 percent click-through on videos with over a million impressions. A single thumbnail has reached 4.22 million impressions.
The numbers come from the platforms' own statistics, and the same numbers are in the portfolio.
What is behind them
A channel does not grow on luck for eight years. Behind the numbers is a craft, and the craft is what you buy in a content package:
- The first seconds decide. A video that does not grab you straight away never gets a chance, so most of the work goes into the opening.
- The picture and the headline are a pair. Together they decide whether anyone clicks, and the click-through rate is followed up per video rather than by feel.
- The curves are read. Where viewers leave, what they jump back to and what makes them stay steers the next video.
- A team on clear direction. Otto leads scriptwriters and editors, so the way of working is already built to be done for someone else.
Three paid productions
Clients make the same demands you will make: the message has to land and the delivery has to be measurable. In total, over four million views have been delivered in paid partnerships. Three examples:
- Opera GX. A sponsored video built as a timeless, fact-based video, with concept, research and script by Otto. Close to 800,000 views.
- Embark Studios (The Finals). A video for the season 4 launch, from concept to finished edit. Over 40,000 views and a very positive response from the players.
- Epic Games (Fortnite). A sponsored message woven into a guide instead of interrupting it. Over 53,000 views.
More partnerships, including Lenovo Legion and Logitech G, are in the portfolio.
What it means for your company
Your company does not need 245 million views. You need the right thousand people in your city to stop, recognise their problem and get in touch. The craft is the same at a small scale: an opening that grabs, a picture and a first line that earn the click, and a monthly look at what worked.
Two things should be said honestly. The numbers above come from gaming entertainment, not from a company feed, so what you can reach depends on your industry and your budget, and we promise no results in advance. And the content packages are a new service: you would be one of the first clients, which is also why the prices are low right now.
The first step is a free channel review: we go through your channels and send a short video with three things we would change, and why. The packages and prices are on the marketing page.
